Spiritual Wedding

Unlike a traditional wedding, a Spiritual Wedding allows for: MALE & MALE, FEMALE & FEMALE, and FEMALE & MALE couples to be joined to get her in a spiritual and holistic manner. The couple is introduced to the Spiritual Energies of the Four Cardinal Points. This calls for the protection and blessing of Mother Earth (Ixchel) from the Central Heart of the Galaxy (HunabKu) & the Four Elements of the Universe, all of which will guide them through the light and unconditional love of their spiritual union. You both will be cleansed by the Spiritual Healer and then guided through a ritual that will connect the two of you in MBSS forever. This is the ancient Pre Hispanic ceremony that is the backbone of the land of Mexico and the way to a relationship that starts with tranquility and spiritual respect. This is also a ritual that can be applied to renewing the vows that were initially shared on that special day, and also contribute to a new start of love and understanding of your inner selves. These weddings are performed by a shaman in the ancient way.  Using the calling of the four cardinal points and its elements, assisted by the Universal energies this ceremony is performed either on a beach or cenote with duration of approximately 45 minutes.

Mayan Toltec Wedding

A Mayan Toltec Wedding ceremony, is a symbolic Ritual, it is the opportunity to consent to be one with the greatest force in the universe, Universal Love, according to the teachings of the grandfathers and grandmothers of the Mexican tradition, recovering the Maya-Toltec tradition to unite the couple through an exchange of vows and rituals. It is a unique wedding, profound and sacred.

The ceremony lasts approximately 45to 50 minutes, and through songs, calls, prayers, sounds of conch shells, flutes, rattles and drums offer up by the Spiritual Healer, he will offer the “ copal” resin to bless and purify the space for the ceremony, while his sacred Priests companion plays the vibration of quartz crystal singing bowls, involving the environment of a mystical and sacred aura.

It is a ceremony filled with symbolism, hope and unity with the Sacred Feminine Omecihualtl Ixchel, and the sacred Male energy Hunab Ku Ometeotl living in all creation, thus restoring cosmic order.

The fundamental structure of the ceremony is based on honor Mother Earth, through the four elements (earth, water, air, fire) to the seven directions (up, to the Cosmic Energy; down, Mother Earth, to the four winds: north, south, west, east, and inside, in the center of the same hearts, representing the great temple of love).

The altar represents the blessings of the four cardinal points, with colorful flower petals, representing each of the cosmic directions, gourds are placed with the seed of life: corn, beans, squash and cacao (containers old shell made of dried gourd). In the center of the altar incense burner is placed where the sacred fire burning (pre-Columbian pot made of mud where burning copal resin as an offering to life) are placed, plus the offerings made (wedding rings, flowers, sacred feathers, seeds, cocoa) later as the bride and groom exchanged vows, the groom will give the woman the corn (which symbolizes the beginning of life and livelihood of the family) and the bride will give cocoa beans (meaning wealth and care that women will put with love in the marriage).

Friends and family members actively participate in the ceremony, forming a circle around the couple, offering their energy of love through messages of blessings, songs and poems. We thank to place a flower gift giving it to the sea and to close the ceremony.

Renovation of Vows

This is also a ritual that can be applied to renewing the vows that were initially shared on that special day, and also contribute to a new start of love and understanding of your inner selves.  This ritual is similar to the spiritual weddings with the only difference of words and meaning.
